Pmod ECAT

Pmod ECAT is an EtherCAT slave interface that utilizes the spi to connect with the ET1100 EtherCAT Slave Controller.

Features

  • Pmod interface: SPI
  • EtherCAT stack from Beckhoff and well-known third parties
  • Flexible, cost effective, single chip
  • EtherCAT slave solution
  • Easy development, fast time to market to test robotics, medical or industrial applications
  • ET1100 EtherCAT Slave Controller

It is possible to integrate Pmod ECAT modules inside PS or PL Levels by high level languages such as (C/C++/Python/Java/R…) or VHDL/Verilog code, or both languages.

The PL domain can be used to develop adhoc accelerators, with HDL Languages it guarantees the synchronization intervals to micro seconds between all the Pmod ECAT wired interfaces.

The modules can be easily added to AMD/Xilinx/Digilent developer boards, as Zybo, Kria, Arty.
