Abstract
EtherCAT is a new real-time industrial Ethernet fieldbus. Principle, technical characteristic and capability of EtherCAT is introduced. A methond of how to configure EtherCAT Master and Slave device and how to design Master and Slave drive program is also put Forward in this paper.
