THYPO's areas of application are wherever resistive loads have to be switched. This makes THYPO ideal for heating, melting, drying, hardening or annealing in a wide range of industrial processes (plastics and packaging industry, glass industry, drying processes, industrial heating processes, chemical industry, furnace construction).
THYPO has a modular design. The heart of the system is the CI communication module. This communicates via the system bus with the TP power controller modules, which are available in different versions. The modular design allows the system to be flexibly adapted to requirements. Up to 1,512 outputs can be individually controlled. This allows the heat to be precisely positioned in terms of time and space.
Compared to conventional wiring with terminals, fuses and solid-state relays, the compact modules offer high space savings in the control cabinet. Tight-to-seal mounting of the power controller modules is possible; everything is integrated in the modules. The installation effort is thus reduced to a minimum.
A large number of innovative and intelligent functions ensure process reliability and optimum product quality. Among other things, the heating currents are measured by means of summation current measurement with virtually no feedback, and the mains voltage compensation ensures constant output power even when the input voltage fluctuates.
The heating currents are recorded continuously in the process and therefore without feedback. With the help of the heating current detection, failures of thyristors or fuses and line break or partial load failures (also in groups) are quickly signaled. Faults can be localized quickly (LEDs, status values, project planning software, web interface, ...) and their cause can be remedied quickly.
