Ethernet and EtherCAT Cables and Connectors

Murrelektronik has the right connection for every application:

  • Field-wireable M12 and RJ45 connectors
  • Pre-wired and molded Models for RJ45, M8, M12 D-/X-/Y-coded
  • Large variety of cable qualities: from PVC jackets for fixed cable installations to highly flexible PUR cables with a wire cross section of 0.34mm² for torsion and bending, for example in C-track applications
  • 360° shielding provides resistance to external interferences
  • All pre-wired connectors are 100% tested
  • UL-approved

Murrelektronik also offers an Industrial Ethernet as a standard for specific user protocols. All types of shielded M8 connectors are available for EtherCAT as well other communication technologies, a special Cat.5e cable for C-track applications. The push-pull power and push-pull data connectors (copper and optical fiber) for further Industrial Ethernet variants are available as field-wireable and pre-wired models.

RJ45 and M12 D-coded connectors:

  • straight or angled versions

  • RJ45 for IP20 protection, M12 for IP65/67 protection
  • combined with M8, M12 or with molded RJ45 connectors.

Y-coded M12 connectors:

  • combined with PUR cables suitable for C-tracks are great for moving applications.
  • Data transfer of up to 100 mbit/s according to Cat. 5e (ISO/IEC 11801, Class D)
  • Power transfer up to 2 x 6 A
  • 360° shielded
  • Soldered shield connection between cable and connector
  • Suitable for applications in industrial environments up to IP65/67
