GUSU LAB

GUSU LAB, established in response to the national strategy for building scientific and technological strength, operates as an independent legal entity under Jiangsu Province. Functioning under the leadership of a council, with a director responsible for its operations.GUSU Lab focuses on application-oriented research in key industrial sectors of Suzhou, including electronic information materials, energy and environmental materials, and instrumentation.Its core mission is to support the innovation clusters of Suzhou's industrial sector. By doing so, it aims to become a significant entity of the provincial and municipal science and technology innovation system, an essential support for the national strategic scientific and technological initiatives, and a vital platform empowering the innovation clusters in Suzhou. Emphasizing engineering and industrialization, GUSU Lab has established specialized platforms for the research and development of applied technologies and promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Currently, the laboratory boasts a workforce of 188 employees, including 155 full-time staff and 125 research personnel, with over 75% holding master's or doctoral degrees.
