EtherCAT Automation Protocol (EAP): EtherCAT for Factory Networking
This presentation introduces the EtherCAT Automation Protocol (EAP), which enables EtherCAT to be used for factory networking. As the process control level requires further communication options in order to operate a plant or a factory, EtherCAT with the EAP offers a solution to this.
