The KOLLMORGEN AKD2G servo drives are featuring new processors which increase the computational power available and therefore support faster control performance. With offering dual axis variant with the same footprint, the drives are offering cabinet space savings. Cost effective versions optimized for single cable feedback are available as well as enhanced versions supporting all main position feedback systems.

With even more Functional Safety

From a safety perspective, AKD2G servo drives will offer important safety functions. Besides dual-channel STO being integrated in the standard version, there are options offering higher level safety functions like SS1, SS2, SOS, SLS, SLI, SDI and much more. Safe Brake Control (SBC) and Safe Brake Test (SBT) are also availale, offering an efficient and cost-effective way of making vertical axes safe without the need for protective fences. With those safety options you can tailor the product according to the needs of your application - Pay only what you need.
