Real-Time Embedded Systems Lab (RESL) is housed in Electrical and Computer Engineering department at University of Waterloo. The lab is a part of CFI Embedded Systems Canada national project. The main objectives of the lab include facilitating state-of-the-art technology, R&D platforms and maintained infrastructure to nation-wide researchers. RESL member’s research, design and evaluate communication protocols, embedded software, software/hardware co-design, and optimal micro-architecture synthesis for constrained real-time systems. RESL includes research-ready prototypes and case studies such as an unmanned aerial vehicle and various control-system challenges.
