Network-enabled amGardpro interlock

amGardpro is the flagship range of networked interlocks and control stations from Fortress Safety. With a robust design amGardpro devices are built to operate in challenging environments and are suitable for use up to PLe. Pushbuttons, lamps, emergency stops, and key adaptors can be incorporated into a single device, providing an all-round and cost-effective solution.

With the proNet network communication module amGardpro interlocks and control stations can connect to industrial networks, including EtherCAT. Device information, supply voltage, and network statistics are available via a webpage interface. In addition, units can be daisy-chained with no additional hardware.

Access control permissions can be implemented using employee ID cards through FRANK, a software-based permissions management system for machine areas. Fortress Safety’s network-enabled devices are easy to set up and configure. With multiple connector configurations the installation process is faster and more efficient. Optional mounting plates are also available.
