Stepping motor driver: EC-AD series
The drivers support EtherCAT, CiA402 drive profile, and PP mode, and are capable of DC (Distributed Clock) synchronization: High-speed response at 250 μs cycles. The motion control core is equipped with a NPM's pulse control LSI, which performs acceleration/deceleration positioning, homing, etc. inside the boards according to the commands from upper controllers. The drivers are also capable of counting the mechanical position by encoder inputs. They drive 1- and 4-axis, bipolar /unipolar, 2-phase stepping motors up to 3.0 A/phase with a constant current, and they have functions such as variable motor torque by intelligent current control suitable for operation and micro-step operation up to 1/32 devison.
